Nick Shekeryk:
Tourism Marketing Specialist for Snohomish County. Manages website content, social media, co-hosts a podcast, and shares about all things soccer for the county’s DMO, Discover Snohomish County, Washington. Undeniably has as the most fun job at the county.
Before joining the SnoCo Tourism team, Nick worked in Communications and Engagement for City of Everett. He studied journalism at Syracuse University (M.A.) and creative writing and philosophy at Seattle University (B.A.). Nick lives in Everett, WA with his wife and two young children. Hobbies include playing competitive baseball, attending live music shows, reading (Nick started a book club last year), and negotiating dinner and bedtime terms with his 3-year-old daughter.
Tammy Dunn:
The executive director of the Snohomish County Sports Commission. Snohomish County Sports Commission is the destination management organization for sports in Snohomish County. This year is her 21st year in being involved with sports tourism in Snohomish County for 20 years. With her leadership, Snohomish County Sports has hosted local to international sports events including USA Softball Class B Western Nationals, Tournament, Nitro Circus “Off the Rail” World Tour, Nautique WWA Wakeboard National Championships, and Fed Cup. She is an active member of the Sports Events & Tourism Association (Sports ETA) and a past board member of the Sports ETA. Locally, Tammy is a past president and current treasurer of the Rotary Club of Everett.
